Window furnishings for residential in Bathurst region by Quicksew.
A residential client came to Quicksew via a local business recommendation for an unconventional curtain project. She had a clear vision: a stunning design in white and blue that would evoke memories of her travels in Japan, reminiscent of elegant hanging screens and intricate artworks. Inspired by Japanese Shoji sliding doors, Quicksew paired a crisp white Compass Snow fabric (Warwick) with the vibrantly embroidered Haiku fabric (The Textile Company) in soothing blue tones. The expert seamstress crafted centre-open, dual-fabric S Wave curtains with a clear Flick Stick for easy, clean operation, softening a room that already had a large shuttered sliding door.
Quicksew supplied, made and installed the window furnishings throughout this project - measured, manufactured in our Bathurst workroom and fitted by our own team.
The client was thrilled with the result, saying she would be 'the lady walking around grinning from ear to ear each day because I have the most beautiful curtains in the world,' and even got up at 2am to admire her new curtains.
