Quicksew has been making custom curtains, and supplying and installing blinds and shutters, for Double Bay since 1977. We're family-owned and locally made to measure. Your curtains are made in our Bathurst workroom and your blinds and shutters custom-made to order, then our own team travels to Double Bay to measure and install. We do both. Quicksew’s own team measures, makes and installs everything, with no subcontractors. A measurer comes to you, your order is made in our Bathurst workroom, then our own installers fit it and check it operates correctly before they leave — one accountable team from first measure to final fit.
Yes — everything is made to measure. Your windows aren’t standard, so neither is what we make for them. We measure to the millimetre, sew to that measurement in Bathurst, and hang it square, so a Quicksew blind sits flat, a curtain pleats evenly and a shutter closes flush.
Yes — everything is made to measure for your windows. Our curtains, sheers and soft furnishings are cut, sewn and finished in our Bathurst workroom. Our blinds and shutters are custom-made to order using premium Australian and international hardware, specified to your window and installed by our own team. Nothing is flat-packed or pulled off a shelf.
