The Problem We Solve
You spend thousands on custom curtains and they never hang right. The track bows under the fabric weight, carriers jam at the corners of a bay window, or the rod pulls from the wall six months later. In older homes the problem is usually a mismatch between heritage plaster and the wrong fixings. In new builds it's a track positioned too low, making the room feel smaller than it should.
Quicksew specifies hardware as part of every curtain installation, not as an afterthought. The track position, bracket spacing, rod diameter and heading compatibility are all determined before a metre of fabric is cut. When the curtains arrive, they hang exactly as designed.
Here's how to choose the right one for your space.
If you…
You want curtains to hang from ceiling height, make your room feel taller, and have the hardware invisible when the curtains are open. Ceiling-mounted aluminium track is the specification, it also handles wave headings, double sheer-and-drape setups, and motorisation. The right choice for most quality installations.

The rod itself is part of the design, a statement timber pole, matte black steel, or brushed nickel with turned finials. You're using eyelet or ring-top curtains. A decorative rod gives that relaxed, welcoming feel that suits certain interior styles perfectly and often costs less than a premium track system.

You have a bay window and want curtains to travel smoothly around all three or five sides without gaps at the corners. A bent aluminium track is the correct solution, not three separate tracks with joins. We bend bay window tracks in-house using professional equipment.

We've been fitting windows since 1977. We know which fabrics hold up through Australian summers and which mechanisms last in real homes — not just showrooms.
If it doesn't fit perfectly, we come back and fix it. No questions, no charge. That's been our policy since 1977 and it's not changing.

A pelmet is a board or fabric-covered panel that conceals the top of a curtain or blind and its fixings, for a clean, tailored top edge. It also closes the gap above a furnishing where light and heat leak in, so it improves both the look and the insulation.
Yes. We make bendable track to the shape of bay and curved windows, so the curtain follows the window line and draws smoothly. We spec the track to the weight of the curtain it carries, so heavy lined curtains glide rather than catch.
Yes. We supply and install heavy-duty bend-to-fit ceiling track for aged-care and healthcare cubicle curtains, plus high-load rails for hotels, function rooms, offices and schools. The track is rated to the load and the constant use of a commercial setting.
