Quicksew is a family-owned, made-to-measure window-furnishings business. We make our curtains in our Bathurst workroom, have your blinds and shutters custom-made to order, and travel to Sydney's Eastern Suburbs to measure and install, as we've done since 1977. The Eastern Suburbs ask a lot of a window. Harbour and coastal light, salt air, heritage terraces beside contemporary architect homes, and a finish that matches the address. We make to specification rather than sell off a shelf, so every curtain falls to the right length and every shutter fits the actual opening.

We do both. Quicksew’s own team measures, makes and installs everything, with no subcontractors. A measurer comes to you, your order is made in our Bathurst workroom, then our own installers fit it and check it operates correctly before they leave — one accountable team from first measure to final fit.
Yes — everything is made to measure. Your windows aren’t standard, so neither is what we make for them. We measure to the millimetre, sew to that measurement in Bathurst, and hang it square, so a Quicksew blind sits flat, a curtain pleats evenly and a shutter closes flush.
Yes — everything is made to measure for your windows. Our curtains, sheers and soft furnishings are cut, sewn and finished in our Bathurst workroom. Our blinds and shutters are custom-made to order using premium Australian and international hardware, specified to your window and installed by our own team. Nothing is flat-packed or pulled off a shelf.
