Quicksew is a family-owned window-furnishings business that has served the Central West since 1977, and we travel out to Forbes to do it. A historic town on the Lachlan River, Forbes mixes grand heritage homes with newer builds, and its open-country climate brings strong summer sun and cold winter nights. Our curtains are cut and sewn in our Bathurst workroom, and our blinds and shutters are custom-made to order to suit your windows and your home's character, then measured and installed by our own Quicksew team, with samples brought to you.

We do both. Quicksew’s own team measures, makes and installs everything, with no subcontractors. A measurer comes to you, your order is made in our Bathurst workroom, then our own installers fit it and check it operates correctly before they leave — one accountable team from first measure to final fit.
Yes — everything is made to measure. Your windows aren’t standard, so neither is what we make for them. We measure to the millimetre, sew to that measurement in Bathurst, and hang it square, so a Quicksew blind sits flat, a curtain pleats evenly and a shutter closes flush.
Yes — everything is made to measure for your windows. Our curtains, sheers and soft furnishings are cut, sewn and finished in our Bathurst workroom. Our blinds and shutters are custom-made to order using premium Australian and international hardware, specified to your window and installed by our own team. Nothing is flat-packed or pulled off a shelf.
