Quicksew has been making custom blinds, curtains and shutters for Central West homes since 1977, and we bring our workroom to Parkes. We measure your openings, cut and sew every piece in our Bathurst workroom, then return to install with our own team, bringing fabric samples to your home so there's no need to travel.
On the western plains the summer sun is relentless. Outdoor blinds in shade mesh or canvas knock the heat and glare off a verandah or patio before it reaches the glass, and turn an exposed outdoor area into a usable room.
A blockout roller darkens a bedroom against the early summer sunrise and helps keep a room cool through a long, hot Parkes afternoon. For the living areas, light-filtering fabrics handle the job without losing the daylight.

A measurer comes to you, your order is made in our Bathurst workroom, then our own installers fit it and check it operates correctly before they leave — one accountable team from first measure to final fit.
Yes — everything is made to measure. Your windows aren’t standard, so neither is what we make for them. We measure to the millimetre, sew to that measurement in Bathurst, and hang it square, so a Quicksew blind sits flat, a curtain pleats evenly and a shutter closes flush.
