Hotel (2009 build + current refurbishment)
The same team, back again years later.
Rydges Mount Panorama sits right on the Mount Panorama motor racing circuit at 1 Conrod Straight, Bathurst — the only hotel with its own postcode on the racetrack. It's been there since 2009: 131 rooms and suites, from studios to two- and three-bedroom apartments, every one with a balcony or patio looking straight out over the track, plus nine event spaces used for everything from race-week hospitality to conferences. We made and fitted every curtain, blind and soft furnishing in the hotel when it was built. Years on, the hotel is partway through a full refurbishment — front-of-house, public areas and rooms — and they called the same team back to do it again.
We measured, made and installed the original window furnishings when the hotel opened, and we're doing the same job again for the refurbishment — new curtains and blinds specified to match the refreshed rooms and public spaces, made to measure in our Bathurst workroom and fitted by our own team. No subcontractors, no handoff between the first fit-out and this one — just the same supplier, back on site.
Bathurst's trackside hotel gets its second fit-out from the same local team that did the first one. Nothing lost between old scope and new, because nothing changed hands in between.
