Quicksew has supplied and installed blinds, curtains and drapery for some of NSW's most demanding buildings: acute hospitals, mental-health and aged-care facilities, courts, correctional centres, defence and research. We work to your specification, make in our own Bathurst workroom, and install with our own team.
A selection of completed projects. Each one was measured, made and installed by our own team.

We measure, make and install. One team owns the result, so there's no gap between the fabricator, the fitter and you.
Curtains, drapery and soft furnishings are made by hand in Bathurst. Blinds and shutters are Australian-made and installed by our team.
We schedule around a live site: staged installs, wing by wing in an occupied facility, on the dates your program needs.
We're fabric-agnostic. Specify the fabric, the finish and the standard, and we build to it rather than steering you to a range we happen to carry.
Compliance requirements vary by building class, sprinkler protection and application. Rather than quote one universal rating, we supply the certificate for each product and fabric so your team can verify it against the current NCC and the relevant Australian Standards for your project.
We supply and install to the mandatory safety rules for corded internal window coverings, and label every installation as required. Cord-free and motorised controls are specified where safety demands it.
Where your project requires a fire-retardant fabric, we specify one that is certified for it and provide the fire-test certificate for that fabric. Not every fabric is fire-retardant, so we confirm the required result per project against the current NCC rather than applying one number to every space.
For clinical and care settings we specify wipe-clean, launderable and antimicrobial fabrics rated for heavy commercial use, with the data sheet available for each fabric.
We supply and install anti-ligature curtain and blind systems for mental-health inpatient settings, and confirm the appropriate system against your project's requirements.
We specify solar-control and energy-efficient fabrics, and can provide the manufacturer's optical and thermal data on request.

Naming the component brand invites substitution. Naming Quicksew keeps the make, the measure and the install with one accountable partner. A spec line reads:
Solar, light and fire data by fabric, with the source named. In preparation.
Send drawings, a window schedule or a fabric specification and our commercial team will price it and flag anything that needs a call. Ask for samples and we'll get them to your practice.
