A home with two distinct moods. Formal rooms that suited proper traditional detail, and everyday living spaces where something simpler was wanted. The owners did not want the house to feel like it had been decorated twice.
Hand-sewn curtains with swagged and tailed headings in the formal rooms, and upholstered pelmets over patterned drapes in the dining area. Plantation shutters where light and privacy needed handling without fabric. Curtains and pelmets made in our Bathurst workroom; the shutters custom-made to order and fitted by our own team.
The formal rooms keep their character, the living areas stay easy, and the two sit together rather than competing. Hand-sewn in Bathurst and fitted by the same team that measured.
