Opened in 2012 at 370 Victoria Street, Darlinghurst, the Kinghorn Cancer Centre is a joint facility of St Vincent's Hospital Sydney and the Garvan Institute of Medical Research.
Sydney's first major cancer research and treatment centre, this flagship of the St Vincent's Research Precinct unites multidisciplinary cancer care with translational research. Specialist laboratories, clinical suites and a 22-metre atrium were delivered in a live environment alongside the Garvan and Victor Chang institutes.
Bedscreens and bedscreen tracking through the treatment floors — thirty-nine at 4.5 × 2 metres, twenty-nine at 4 × 2, and twelve more for the HOAC rooms on Level 4. Levels 3 and 7 took double-sided bedscreen curtains, where both faces of the screen are on show and both have to finish properly. One of several Sydney hospitals we have supplied bedscreens and tracking to — more of our Sydney work.
The centre sets the benchmark for integrated cancer care and research. Quicksew's window furnishings manage daylight and privacy across the clinical and consulting spaces, supporting comfort for patients and staff alike.
Measured and made in our Bathurst workroom, for homes and projects across Central West NSW and Sydney.
