Window furnishings for a 400-bed rapid-build correctional centre, built by Hansen Yuncken.
A 400-bed rapid-build prison in Central West NSW, delivered as part of the NSW Government's Prison Bed Capacity Program. The facility comprises 14 individual buildings across 13.5 hectares, designed to increase inmates' out-of-cell hours and access to employment, education and programs while maintaining the highest levels of security.
Quicksew supplied and installed the window furnishings throughout this project, built by Hansen Yuncken. Our blinds and curtains were specified and fitted to suit each space, controlling glare and heat, managing privacy and protecting the interiors, while sitting cleanly within the architecture so the design leads.
The centre offers a modern, safe environment for officers and inmates. Quicksew's window furnishings meet the practical and security demands of the facility while managing light across its staff and program spaces.
