The largest coroner's court and forensic medicine facility in Australia, this award-winning Lidcombe building was designed with leading technology, dignity and respect front of mind, replacing a 40-year-old facility to support Sydney's growing population. It accommodates three government departments across autopsies, forensic training, court hearings and coronial inquests.
Quicksew supplied and installed the window furnishings throughout this project, built by BESIX Watpac. Our blinds and curtains were specified and fitted to suit each space, controlling glare and heat, managing privacy and protecting the interiors, while sitting cleanly within the architecture so the design leads.
Named Best Health Building at the 2019 MBA NSW Awards, the facility transformed forensic and coronial experiences. Quicksew's window furnishings manage light and privacy across the consulting, court and viewing spaces.
