Regional hospital
Window furnishings for Central Western NSW's main hospital, built by Hansen Yuncken.
As Central Western NSW's main hospital, Orange Base Hospital was a significant development for the region, a new 300-bed hospital with a 60-bed acute mental health unit and a 40-bed secure mental health unit, plus heritage refurbishment on the Bloomfield site. The project completed well ahead of schedule despite the building growing 20% during delivery.
Quicksew supplied and installed the window furnishings throughout this project, built by Hansen Yuncken. Our blinds and curtains were specified and fitted to suit each space, controlling glare and heat, managing privacy and protecting the interiors, while sitting cleanly within the architecture so the design leads.
The hospital provides modern care for Central Western NSW. Quicksew's window furnishings manage light and privacy throughout the wards, consulting and mental-health spaces.
