Commercial window furnishings for an award-winning national distribution centre, built by Richard Crookes Constructions.
Three existing warehouses consolidated into one state-of-the-art, 30,000sqm national distribution centre, winner of the UDIA Industrial Development of the Year and a 4-Star Green Star certification. A 37-metre high-bay runs an Automated Storage Retrieval System across 70 per cent of the building.
Thirty-two twin chain-drive roller blinds, pairing Duo Block with Duo Screen on the one bracket — screen down through the working day, blockout when a room needs it. Stainless-steel chain throughout. Two more went in later from stock we were holding on site, for the ground-floor lunch room. Warehouse and distribution fit-outs sit alongside our commercial work across Sydney.
The facility represents the next generation of supply-chain technology and industrial real estate. Quicksew's window furnishings dress the office and amenity areas, controlling glare and heat for the teams working alongside the automated warehouse.
