Window furnishings for an ACT rehabilitation and aged-care hospital, built by Multiplex.
A key part of the ACT Government's Health Infrastructure Program, the University of Canberra Public Hospital provides rehabilitation, mental-health and aged-care services with 140 overnight beds and 75 day places. A heated hydrotherapy pool supports rehabilitation, and a strong university partnership underpins teaching and research.
S-Wave curtains on hand-drawn ceiling-mounted tracks through the existing resident rooms, in Nettex Costa Rica with colours set by each area’s scheme — hand-sewn in our Bathurst workroom. Alongside them, ninety-nine chain-drive roller blinds in Vibe Blockout (Nimbus) to the common areas, plus further single chain-drive blinds in Vibe Blockout keyed to the same colour schemes.
The hospital delivers focused, sub-acute care for the ACT and neighbouring NSW. Quicksew's window furnishings manage daylight and privacy across the rehabilitation, mental-health and aged-care spaces.
