Window furnishings for aged care in Orange by Quicksew.
Quicksew treated the windows of St Francis Aged Care in Orange, crafting welcoming, vibrant interiors and rejuvenating living areas across multiple levels. Working from a variety of colour samples, the team helped the client select warm autumn hues, particularly for the Dementia wing. In the upstairs sitting room, twin roller blinds and printed blockout blinds (Good Night base cloth by Materialised, printed in Indienne Zest) complemented the existing yellow and grey scheme. The corridor and Dementia wing combined knife-pleat sheer and double pinch-pleat blockout curtains with custom-print single roller blinds, using the same Aleena 007H print across blinds, curtains and sheers for a cohesive look.
Quicksew supplied, made and installed the window furnishings throughout this project - measured, manufactured in our Bathurst workroom and fitted by our own team.
Completed in December 2023, the result was a lively, fresh atmosphere throughout the living spaces.
