Window furnishings for a cancer-care clinic upgrade, built by Hines Constructions.

The Brief

Demolition, extension and redesign of the Daffodil Cottage Cancer Clinic at Bathurst Base Hospital, delivered by Hines Constructions. The upgrade added new staff and nursing-unit-manager offices, ten new treatment bed areas, consult rooms, and a new reception and staff station, fully integrated with the main hospital.

Our Solution

A small, specific job: two new bedscreen tracks in Consult 02 and Consult 03, mesh added to the existing bedscreens, and a Paris wing chair upholstered in Padova Lagoon with a coffee-bean leg stain. Local work, for a local cancer centre. One of many health jobs we have done across Bathurst.

The Result

A calm, modern setting for cancer care close to home. Quicksew's window furnishings bring privacy and gentle light control to the treatment bays, consult rooms and waiting areas.
