Window furnishings for an aged-care extension, built by North Construction.
An extension to the existing Kanandah Retirement aged-care facility in Mudgee, delivered by North Construction. The new works add a common area, additional resident rooms and a new Japanese Garden.
Fifteen double pinch-pleat curtains with knife-pleat sheers behind, hand-sewn in our Bathurst workroom — Nightline in Pearls of the Sea (Seaway) for the bedrooms, Midnight in Vivaldi Mist for the common areas — with fifteen fully upholstered padded pelmets made to match. S-Wave curtains in Soundcheck White with knife-pleat lining on hand-drawn track. We also supplied the furniture: Bremen high-back armchairs and lounges, Martina and Milan tub chairs in Crypton, and Empire dining tables with wheelchair cut-outs. Aged care is a lane we know well, and Mudgee is on our regular run.
