Window furnishings for a heritage aged-care refurbishment, delivered in a live facility.
St Luke's Care refurbished Lulworth House with Paynter Dixon, 21 bedrooms with ensuites, a new dining area and servery, an upgraded lounge and refreshed back-of-house, all within a live, occupied residence. The window furnishings had to lift the interior while the work was staged around continuing resident care.
Quicksew supplied and installed the window furnishings through the refurbished bedrooms and communal spaces, made to each opening and fitted in stages around the live environment. We matched fabrics and controls to a modern, comfortable residential feel with the durability and cord-safety aged care asks for.
Lulworth House reopened its refurbished areas in 2025, a calmer, more inviting home for residents, fitted without disrupting their day-to-day.
